Your public profile page
Write your company About content (tagline, about, services, and FAQ) and preview it live in the in-map profile drawer.
Your public profile is the "About" page for your business. It introduces who you are, what you do, and how to reach you, and it shows up in two places: an in-map drawer that opens when a visitor clicks your logo, and a standalone profile page you can link to directly.
Edit your profile
- In the dashboard, click Profile in the left navigation.
- Fill in the fields. As you type, your changes preview live on the map to the right. The in-map profile drawer opens automatically so you can see exactly what visitors will see.
- Click Save changes.
There are four fields:
- Tagline: one line shown under your business name. It's also used as the page description for search engines, so keep it short and specific.
- About: a short paragraph about your company, what you do, and why customers choose you.
- Services: the work you offer. Short, comma- or line-separated names (for example,
Roof replacement, Gutters, Siding) render as tags. Longer prose renders as a paragraph. - FAQ: frequently asked questions. Use the
Q:/A:convention, with a blank line between each pair. Each pair becomes an expandable entry, and is also published as structured FAQ data for search engines.
You can leave any field blank; empty sections simply don't appear.
How visitors see it
On your map. Your business name, logo, and tagline appear in the map's branded header. Clicking your logo (or the About entry) opens a profile drawer right over the map with your about text, services, FAQ, locations, and contact details, without sending the visitor away from the map.
As a standalone page. Your profile also lives at its own web address, /<your-workspace>/profile. This is a full page you can link to from your website, email signature, or social profiles. Use the View public profile link at the top of the Profile editor to open it in a new tab.
Both surfaces also show your locations (from Settings → Offices), your review rating if you've collected reviews, and your public phone, email, and website (from Settings → Profile).
If you've published a public gallery (see Creating a gallery), a Photos link appears on your profile that opens it, and the gallery links back to your map and profile. Only galleries set to "Public" are featured this way; unlisted, password, and team-only galleries stay private.
Keep it current
Your profile content is shared across the in-map drawer and the standalone page, so you only edit it once. Saving updates both immediately.
